While you’ll start by taking classes at Columbus State, you will already be considered an Otterbein student, as well. Your Student ID will provide access to both campus resources: campus recreation, library, theatre performances, athletic events, leadership opportunities and much more.
Athletics
You’ll find plenty of opportunity to play sports – or cheer on the teams on at both schools. Columbus State sports include basketball, cheerleading, volleyball and golf, as well as student groups for additional sports. Otterbein has 21 NCAA Division III teams* including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, and wrestling, as well as additional athletic opportunities like dance teams, cheerleading and more!
*Due to NCAA restrictions, students are not able to play on a Division III team until they transition to Otterbein as a full-time student.

It’s easy to stay fit whether your on the Columbus State campus or the Otterbein campus. Both schools offer state-of-the-art fitness centers, as well as free fitness classes for students. It’s like having two new gym memberships, so it’s twice as easy to stay in shape!

Leadership development
A big part of the college experience is growing, changing and stretching your abilities. You’re invited to step into leadership roles at both campuses, and you’ll have mentors to support you and help you develop your leadership style. You’ll build confidence, skills and a strong network along the way.
